Found a Kopek

I just had to put this out here.I purchased a Mosin 91/30 recently and just started checking out the ammo pouches.Inside coated with the grease from and stuck to the oil bottle was a 1937 1 Kopek coin.Not worth alot monetarily.But thinking of the history if that coin could talk is priceless in my opinion.Sorry for the long post.It was just kind of exciting for me.Thank you for reading.[IMG][/IMG]

Good question and I believe the answer is yes.
I think the Russians have always called their money by Ruble and Kopek. I'm thinking it's a Tsarist coin since I doubt any coins were minted after the February Revolution and before the establishment of the USSR in 1922.

I cleaned it up better and I was wrong on the date.It is 1937 not 1917,sorry for the inaccuracy.And also added some pictures.
