    Price check Webly revolver

A friend of mine has a webley revolver. It's a break top type revolver it there is no hammer spur, it's chambered in .38 Just says "made in england" not even sure it is a Webley. But looks like a Webley.
Sorry no pics at this time. He wants to know how much it is worth. A little help. Thanks!

Sounds like an Enfield, but maybe there were other copies too.

I recently paid $300 for a good condition "War Finish" Webley with no safety and no import marks. I figure it was a bring-back. I've also seen recent imports (with the added-on safety and probably a much nicer finish than mine) at J&G or maybe it was SOG selling for about $300.

    Hope this helps a little.

I paid $300 plus DROS about 2 years ago with the import stamp.

Prob an Enfield the no hammer is a giveaway but only saying made in England seems odd we really need pics. I have an Enfield with hammer and wood grips from 1932 I feel is worth $400+ beat examples with shaved hammer go for much less.
