+1. The action of a Mosin is one of the safest out there. If I HAD to experience a major kaboom, I'd choose a Mosin to do it.
+1, had an Enfield go kaboom before. It ejects hot gas out the side ports and back, then throws the firing pin (and therefore, the cocking knob) back into your thumb.
