well i'm definitely considering a muzzle break now, but i don't think my mosin sporter(already in progress from a mismatched barrelled action) is going to be a pistol-gripped monstrosity. that does look neat and kinda funtional, but ugly overall. i think if you're going to do a sporter, it should look nice at least, not like some pakistani blacksmith hammered it together in a frickin' cave somewhere over a campfire. just my $0.02. i love military sporters by the way, someday i'll take pictures of mine.

The rifle performed very well comparing to the longer Mosin Nagant version M38/44. With muzzle brake the rifle actually has less recoil. I also shoot with one hand to show how stable the rifle was.
Very nice, Lex!! Did you like the accuracy?

Congrats on a successful new creation!

I like it alot Lex, looks super light weight and no recoil. Great job!
I'm pretty much copying Ajax22 with my project.

Accuracy was similar to the M38. However, I need to adjust the front sight which I didnt bring any tool. I really need to sit on a seat on a bench to really see the true accuracy of this mod. Perhaps a basic red dot would work better. My goal was make sure it fires and make sure nothing blow up. As far as heat some member posted. None at all. My left hand was hold the front portion of the magazine and I had no issue with heat. We shot over 50 rounds from that rifle. No burn, no soreness......just plain fun.... BTW.. the Mosin only weight 7.20 lbs without ammo.

That's a cool mod, I really like it. Very Mad Max. Can I ask where you were in the video? I've been looking for an unregulated shooting location in SoCal to test my own mutant Mosins and I'm tired of driving an hour to Lytle Creek.

I think it looks great, so when are you gonna start selling the stock kits?

I've got a junker Mosin that I had been planning to model after AJAX22's but this might change all that.

I have no plan to produce this stock. I did for me and i think the demand is just too low. However, if there is enough demand it will most likely be CNC in aluminum with coating.
