C&R and COE - first time in action.

SO I went on a road trip last weekend to the fortuna rodeo. Took my brand new C&R and COE copies along with me. checked out a coupel of stores on the way up nothing until I got to rio dell and Grundmans sporting goods - my favorite.
Walked in with copies and a wallet and walked out 20 minutes later with a Lee Enfield No.4. makes you feel like a free man again being able to walk into a store and just buy something.

Great, can't wait to get mine too. ("ATF Licensing Washington DC" already charged my VISA on 7/20, but my check for COE hasn't shown up in my online banking).

That's awesome...now if we could only do that for non C&R pistols and rifles. I used mine tremendously to forego the 1 new pistol in 30 days. I get my weapons a lot quicker but hasn't helped my checkbook balance any

Yeah, it's great when they are familiar with the law. I usually call before to see if they'll recognize my COE/03 combo I go if it's far away.

Same here. I walked into Gusslers today with my 03 and COE and walked out with a 1951 .38 Colt Cobra. This is how it should be for ALL law abiding Americans, and not just for C&R's ...but for all guns.

yes it does. And it works for C&R firearms of any age, not just those that are 50+ years old.
