    For ammo check out:

The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.

      922r: http://home.comcast.net/~navy87guy/home/922r.html

A stock Yugo does not need any parts added. Murray's mods, better sights, and sporting stocks don't require 922r parts either. The only thing in California that would require the replacement of 922r parts would be a folding or adjustable stock, since it is already illegal per California law to use removable mags........unless you take the position that the Yugo is not actually an SKS, and in that case you could change to 10 round removable mags and then need to do the 922r parts thing.

Note that 922r applies to assembly, not possession, and there is no requirement that parts be marked "made in USA". The BATF has offered written opinions that disassembly and reassembly for cleaning do not count as "Assembly" as referred to in the statute. I think the words "I got it that way" should cover most legal questions about modified imported centerfire semiauto rifles.
