CMP Arrived Today

Two Garands, ordered a rack grade SA, which is actually a field grade, guess they ran out or something. Serial # is low 89,000's, stock is filthy, needs some TLC, barrel looks great, functions properly, great patina to the metal.

The WRA has a mis-matched rough stock, all black metal finish, good barrel, functions, etc.

The WRA Carbine is nice, though the stock looks weather beaten, all in all pleased, will post photos in next day or so.

Took 4 weeks to get them from the time I mailed the paperwork.

Pretty cool stuff: snagged a 5 digit and a GL stock. Happen to pull any uncommon/rare parts (lockbars, op rods, barrels)? I remember one of my first service grade Garands came with a WRA un-cut oprod and an LMR barrel.

How long before you got an E-Mail from them ??

I'm waiting for 2 rifles from them . I know it's only been 2 weeks . But I hate waiting .....

I got the e-mail from them about 2.5 weeks after I sent it, then the order was going thru the motions and when I checked my bank I noticed the charge for the rifles, then I got an e-mail on Friday that said they were being shipped over night, but since no Saturday delivery on these, I got them Monday.

How long before you got an E-Mail from them ??

About the same for me. They had a big rush after announcing new SG carbines and the arrival of some HXP ammo. I think things are starting to calm down again...

Next time, send the paperwork in next day. It's all about when the papaerwork gets there that really starts the clock ticking...
