How bad is the Greek Rack grade? Pics?

If you go the woodless Dane route and find that the barrel is trash you can always just send it in to Springfield Armory to rebarrel and re-parkerize the whole rifle. They will do the re-barrel fr $209 and re-park for $60 since the rifle is an old Springfield USGI. You can have a perfect USGI Garand with new walnut, park and barrel for under $700.
