    C&R guns in Afghanistan

I have a friend currently serving with British Forces in Afghanistan, and he sent back these photos of a room full of old rifles. Unfortunately, I don't know the circumstances, but I will ask him when he gets back. Looks like there must be a couple of good project guns amongst this lot.

Now who do I send a copy of my FFL03 in Afghanistan to have those guns sent back here?

Thanks for sharing the pictures. It looks like some of those rifles could use some polish.

Keep in mind that while those rifles may look like old classics most of them are probably Afghan copies.

At least Iraq's C&Rs were of higher quality!

That is correct they have their own Firearm Industry, I especially like those Fancy Stocks designed by them. Earlier this year a Brit Unit recovered a Rifle that belonged to a the same Brit unit wiped out during the Colonial Period - it was sent back to the Unit's museum. A lot of History out there, could end up being one of our toughest Wars. Has anyone seen the movie The Beast? About a Russian tank crew in Afganistan.

I think that was just the k98 pile. I've seen pictures of just about every imagineable firearm being found in Iraq.

Even some I'd never imagine......like the gold plated ak's.
