Two C&R Apps up for grabs (simple rules in thread)

I have two official ATF C&R apps up for grabs. Each will be shipped at no charge via USPS. Simple rules follow:

1. You must be a CA resident. (anything I can do to make it easier for a Californian to get a gun is a good thing in my book and this is a CA board after all.)

2. You must be serious about getting a C&R and not be a "lookie lou". You need to mail in your app to the ATF and not just let it mothball on your desk.

3. If you have ordered and are waiting for official forms, you must "pay it forward" whenever you get yours, using any manner of your choosing, please redistribute to ANYONE who will use it using your own best judgment.

4. If you are willing to follow rules 1,2 and 3, post "I'm In" in this thread.

5. If you are one of the first two people to post "I'm In" PM me your mailing address and I'll get the form off to you ASAP.

6. Any final decisions, disputes, blah blah decided by me, fiver.

Full disclosure: I am an Ohioan and have some choice comments about Kali but you all are a damn good bunch here and this is one of the best boards on the net as far as I am concerned . This is all the little I can do to help, if it matters.

Anyone that wants a C&R can get the forms for free. I know because I still have the ones I got like 3 years ago.

Not to keen on the regulations regarding C&R, not to mention I'd be broke if I had one.

Yes, the forms are free, but it can be a pain to get them from ATF. Orders for blank forms via the ATF website can often take months to get, if at all. Many times, multiple orders have to be submitted, with no joy. People have resorted to calling local ATF offices to find forms. It got so bad that a CG'er scanned a blank form and made it a fillable PDF so that people were not at mercy of the ordering system. That worked OK for a couple weeks with a couple of them being approved, then ATF said that you had to use the "official" form, a copy of it wasn't acceptable.

That is why CG'ers are offering them up to others for free. If you aren't gonna use them, you might make some quick friends by offering yours up if it is the current revision. IIRC, the current revision is May 2005.

I'll look around and see if I can find them. They are a couple years old, not sure if the form has changed since.
