    Molina/Llama advice

I am getting ready to list two pistols that have been in the family for a while. Is there anywhere I can take these in SO CAL prior to listing to get a clean bill of helath? Is it necassary? I dont want to disappoint any potential buyer as I am not knowledgeable on C&R peices.

    Thanks in advance

Are you familiar with the 1911 platform? These are both based on that design. The Ballerina Molester (Ballester-Molina) uses a swing arm style trigger and a few other differences. The Llama is really just an out of spec 1911.

Also, keep in mind that the Llama is probably not a C&R pistol. They did start making them more than 50 years ago but most of the ones that you see are not that old.

You can go to this website to learn how to date Spanish firearms.

    Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

What area of southern California? Also, sell them "as is". That is normal for old guns. Normally your local gun smith should be able to give them a once-over to make sure there are no obvious issues for a small fee. But typically other than that, you just be up-front about it and let the buyers know that you are not familiar with them enough to know anything more.
