    What am I?

My sister in law inherited some firearms from her father. I was able to tell what they all are except this one. I know that it's a Mauser 22lr training rifle. I'm just not sure what model it is.

I haven't looked at it that close. When I get back from a business trip I'll be going over it better.

The DSM-34 rifles weren't specifically military. They were "civilian" production under the disarmament rules at the time. Shortly there after the Germans began production of the KKW series of .22 rifles. The KKW rifles had more military features such as bayonet lugs. The KKW rifles were mini K98 rifles.
