Within 30 minuets of accepting the upgrade I got this email

" We will get this order pulled and changed. If we have any trouble processing your order we will contact you. Once it is processed it will go to the shipping department and they will send you an email with the tracking number when it ships out."

she denied my request to add a second rifle and my last response was the following

"I would really like a WW2 Springfield if you can honor this request I will highly appreciate it "

Card was charged 2 hours later and pending on my account. If it ships tomorrow I will update.

Are they indicating on the paperwork whether these current rifles were Philippine returns, or anything else such as that?

In years past, the certificates of authenticity they send with the rifles occasionally had some additional detail-- not just the serial number and the name of the person who purchased the rifle, etc.-- for example, I have seen one that had the serial number and then "Danish" with the serial number, even if the receiver was US-made. Or, if someone bought a stripped receiver, the certificate might list the model as "M1 Garand Rec," and so on.

It was Republicans who had control of the House and Senate in 2015 when FY16 defense budget was signed. Obama had no choice but to sign it. Unrelated to BO, this thread calls to mind the excitement that incoming DCM/CMP orders used to bring. Can you imagine a USPS letter carrier dropping off a rifle sent to your residence via registered mail? Oh man, that was months of anticipation, and then like a kid at Christmas when it finally showed up. I remember. Better than having Cuban cigars delivered.

Upgrade to a Service AND immediate delivery for $100...easy decision

Just got the email today, on an order of two Field Grades. Wait for the Field Grade rifles, or pay the $100 upgrade for Service Grade to ship immediately.

Absolutely, positively, a no-brainer..... said "YES". They then notified me that they will be pulling and shipping two Service Grade rifles, and will let me know when they are ready to ship.

When did you send off your order?

EDIT, never mind, I just read your previous post that you sent it off last July. Good god, that’s a long wait!!! Does not give me hope that I’ll be receiving mine any time soon. They have acknowledged receipt of my order, but that’s it. No upgrade option sent as of yet.

I mailed off my order for one of the new "expert-grade" rifles on Monday, tracking shows it was just delivered.

Now the long wait begins....

I never heard anything until I called them and talked to the right person. By right person, I mean someone who actually cared to help and look into my order. The first two times I called all they would tell me is roughly what time frame they were working on.

I recommend calling and letting them know you sent your order back in September and see if they can dig into it for you.

Just did the dros CMP came through.
WW2 44 Sa receiver (what I wanted) with a brand new 1950 barrel 2+ and a CMP walnut Stock.

I had a few issues with my FFL but it finally made it home. According to the "low key information" that I acquired. CMP has guns but they do not have enough to fill the 8 gun orders from scalpers. They are holding back on those who are already on record owning more than what they can carry and are getting guns in the hands of new buyers first by offering service over field grades. My gun is not perfect but she is definitely pretty.
