Can a FFL03/COE holder cash and carry a C&R pistol?

Just got my FFL03/COE to let me get ammo online shipped directly to me. But now that I have it, I'm interested in starting to collect C&R, surplus, etc.

I tried to search for the answer and I found very limited discussion about this specific scenario. I know C&R long guns can be cash and carry, but very little discussion about C&R pistols.

From what I did scrape together, it looks like I (as a FFL03/COE Collector) can cash and carry C&R pistols I purchased from out of state. But, it looks like I can't do that if the purchase is within California. I may be completely wrong.

So, my questions are:

Can I buy (cash and carry) a C&R pistol from a private seller within California?

Can I buy (cash and carry) a C&R pistol from a store within California?

Can I buy (cash and carry) a C&R pistol from a private seller out of state?

Can I buy (cash and carry) a C&R pistol from a store out of state?

NO, NOT UNLESS IT IS ANTIQUE - PRE 1899

YES, FROM DEALER INVENTORY, TRANSFER, OR PPT. THE FFL HAS TO KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING THOUGH

YES AND NO, SUBJECT TO THAT STATE'S LAWS

Can I buy (cash and carry) a C&R pistol from a store out of state?
YES AND NO, AGAIN SUBJECT TO THAT STATE'S LAWS

OR requires private sales to go through dealers too. I don't know if there's a C&R exemption.

Keep in mind, just because you have an 03 FFL not all sellers or store fronts will automatically do business involving CA. Choose your seller wisely.
