I've been wanting to make one into a legal SBR....

with 25 round MG13 mags, a short barrel and a folding stock, it would be a hecuva party favor.

Does anyone have a pic of what this might look like?...that sounds awesome.

Gaaa! Bubba and his rusty hacksaw of doom! The bane of every milsurper out there.

I love my Hakim. It is probably the loudest gun I own. And I like to watch people trying to figure out how the action works. There is nothing more entertaining than handing it off to some Know-it-all who thinks he is God's gift to the local range. It's like handing a loaded moustrap off to a monkey. You can be sure that in a matter of moments you will hear a "snap!" followed by screaming, cussing and swearing. Garand thumb is nothing compared to this finger eating action. The funny thing is that it is pretty simple to avoid if you know anything about the action. But you just can't tell some people anything.

It is, but loaded it makes the rifle about 13lbs.
