I have came into possession of a very old and vintage Springfield Trapdoor carbine in 45-70 but with no sights and a smooth bore. This is the first one like this I have ever seen. Can anybody shed some light on this. Thanks.

Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

(at least it's possible to shoot though it might not be great for your gun)
