Yup ,next weekend ,Friday -Sunday. @ Fairview Park by the ocean.
Lots of BP guns and cannons ,sometimes we get two Gatling guns.Events like these really ruin the guns = crime argument. Dance on Saturday nite, FREE ! Real women love to dance with men that smell of burned blackpowder.

From a variety of places. Most re-enactments have suttlers who sell everything we need and a lot of junk we don't need.

There are sutlers at the events,and /or you can try out a re-enactment unit
and borrow some loaner gear for the first few weekends. Id be best to stay on the side of the Lord and join up with the Army of the Potomac.

Never had a problem here. Real cav troopers are never without their spurs, side arm, or saber. Though we make exceptions for the saber at dances.
