PLEASE NOTE: A renewal application (ATF Form 8 Part II) will automatically be mailed by ATF to the "mailing address" on the license approximately 90 days prior to the expiration of the license. If the application is not received 30 days prior to the expiration date, the licensee should contact the Federal Firearms Licensing Center (FFLC).

For everyone's info my FFL cleared payment on Oct5th and I recieved it on Oct 27th. Much quicker than I expected. Still waiting on COE which was started at the same time.

Hi everyone, I am new to the FFL03 and COE process for both C&R firearms as well as being able to order ammunition and have it delivered directly to my home.

I have not been able to find too much recent activity on what they include or a comprehensive recent guide on what exact forms to fill out for both. Can anyone link me to where I need to go to start? Any tips on filling out the forms?

I am hoping that I can get the process started now and have it before the end of the year. Thank you in advance!

One more quick question though...I do not want any issues with them arriving to the ATF so can anyone advise if they sent them out in a standard sized envelope or can I send out in a large envelope? Does it matter?

However when I shipped mine I had it tracked just in case. I usually do that with any important documents or packages. just for a warm fuzzy.

On my FFL03 app that I mailed in, I wrote the wrong CLEO on my form. I didn't know it was the wrong one until I mailed the copy to OC CLEO and they kicked it back to me saying return to sender. The feds already cashed my $30 but I'm wondering how on earth I correct this now

Send it to the correct CLEO and move on with your life. CLEOS change all the time.

Once I got to Idaho, I ignored the mail to chief LEO stuff.

Turns out the Sheriff is married to my dental hygienist. I give her a copy and she takes it home.

No problem.
