I will be posting more stuff tomorrow. She sent over more pics. One of the handgun seems like there should be a good story with it. I think that would be the only reason it would be in the same case with the rest of them.

From what I can see in the pics:
Winchester 3rd Model Hotchkiss in excellent condition $4,500+
Remington Hepburn #3 Match $3,500+. Good chance the Nickle receiver and engraving may have been factory special order. With provenance, could bump up to $6K, weren't many made.
Maynard Mid Range Target $2500+
Calibers and bore condition on the Hepburn and Maynard effect pricing.
Browning Superposed 20ga $2,200-$2,800. Chokes, bore condition and lockup wear dictate price. Chokes are marked on the left side of the cambers. If the top lever is anywhere left of 6 o'clock, it needs work.
Don't shoulder it, or you'll buy it.

Beautiful collection. The only one I can comment on is the trap door. I'd place it close to $500, as condition isn't all that great and the "US" has been ground from the lock.
Also, check its serial number. It's likely a model 1884 with that flat Buffington rear sight. Could also be an updated 1873 but many 1884's had 1873 breech blocks.C&R nut.Comment

These honest appraisals are going to seriously undermine the efforts of others who identify the rifles as worthless and swoop in with lowball offers. From what I can see in the pics:

Well they are worth what someone will pay on any given day.. That said, there are some very valuable, desirable and Beautiful Firearms in those photos.
All are out of my financial means for sure. They go to a good auction venue, they could go crazy.
But then you have large Fees included at some of those Auction Houses.
Those Blue Book guides and such in my opinion are worthless in determining true value. They are usually way, way off.Last edited by AR22; 06-20-2018, 10:44 AM.Comment

Gun 14 - Stevens & Co. Pocket Rifle

Gun 15 - Unknown. Please help identify

Gun 16 - this is the one I was talking about. Should have a story behind its existence and why it was a part of the collection, but I don't know it.

Sorry brother, didn't mean to pizz in your cornflakes. These honest appraisals are going to seriously undermine the efforts of others who identify the rifles as worthless and swoop in with lowball offers.
Helluva collection ain't it? Not only desirable models, but the condition they're in!
MV, Swamped with Dr. appointments and the worker comp battle right now, I'll try to get back to the .22's on Fri. Need caliber on the Marlin, and barrel length on the 60A. The 60A is the early finger groove model, and that Model 90 .22LR are both collector guns, hard to find, especially in that condition!Comment

Whoever put together that collection had really good taste.
I might be interested in that pocket rifle if you decide on a value.
