I've got the 03FFL/COE so no DROS for me fortunately.

Well on my order they mistyped @gmail.com as @gmial.com so I never got any kind of confirmation. I only found out as when they sent the boxes a manila envelop was taped to one which had all of my order info in it.

I'm pretty sure I sent my paperwork in April 1st or so, and received May 30th

Bummer. I wish you luck. I agree that cmp should, and most likely will make it right.

I find it hard to believe they could miss that. I am sure they will take care of it. But that should not have been missed. Not excusing CMP in any way. But with some impatient Customers wanting their Orders yesterday, this kind of stuff will happen.

Good Luck with the fix. Hopefully it will not cost you alot of out of pocket expense getting it fixed.

The barrel looks awful. The fact the brush isn't making contact on part of the barrel means it is corroded. It needs to go back.

All new barrels are like that.

How are ringed barrels made? Never seen one.

When there is a barrel obstruction and subsequently fired.

                              Problem fixed by CMP

CMP returned my '47 Garand with a Service Grade re-barrel. Headspaced and test fired. I took it to the range yesterday along with its budy, and my friend and I put several rounds through them of PPU M1 ammo.

                              Very happy with the results!

CMP did great. I sent them email describing the problem, they gave me an expenses-paid FedEx sticker AND when I was unable to locate a shipping box, sent me a new one also expenses-paid.

They fixed the barrel in a matter of days, headspaced and tested and sent back within the week.

One could not ask for better service from anyone!
