    All mine were delivered by UPS or FedEx don't recall USPS delivering to me.

      Disappointed, after reading the 'Why" of it, in another article that I cannot find now.... The gist of it is, as I read it; is so that only serious collectors buy them and not end up "on the streets" and used in liquor store robberies.
      I think I will pass on this one.

        Of course you are right. I missed the distinction between "mailman" and delivery service. My bad. I thought folks might have missed that they still deliver to the door.

          No biggie, I remember on an old C&R email Forum back in the early 1990's taking about the BBT (Big Brown Truck) delivering or waiting for it!

              Indeed it is the Big Brown Truck of Joy and I love my driver Rich. But I am afraid his back is gonna be hurting from my holiday purchases and last throws of internet ammo buying (5000 round cases of CCI SV turn out to be quite heavy). He likes the CMP cardboard boxes better.

                yes. I do. my best rifles came that way. Until at least April, 1997.

                never have had UPS deliver anything from CMP/DCM. only FedEx
