    sorry to hear that I remember a few shoots ago you let me shoot your enfield and I lent you my mauser. I am also loosing my eye sight with night blindness. I found it helpful to wash my face and eyes a bit to regain my sight try a bit of water before you shoot to see if it helps.

        For iron sights, I've been switching over to aperture-style peeps and have been mounting prismatic 1x optics that have etched reticles and work both with or without batteries. Not a whole lot else you can do - getting old sucks..

          I have this same problem. I wear reading glasses. With my glasses on I can see the gunsights but not the target. With regular safety glasses I can see the target, but not the sights.

          Conundrum.

            There are some great articles to read through, thank you. Having something I can show the eye doctor that explains what I need will be very helpful. I also need to look at my prescriptions to see what my diopter is for my shooting eye.

            Getting old does suck, it would be great to be in my 20s again.
