      I got one a while back...Great rifle
Always gets a lot of attention when I bring it to a range

Careful with the bolt and dust cover / you think Grand thumb is bad....
The Hakim will break a pencil............

        Two words:

        Heavy, accurate.

My brother has one. Great guns. Dent the bejesus out of your brass though.

They were originally equipped with a hard rubber buffer on the case deflector bar to help prevent case denting. Unfortunately the rubber buffers did not last, and 99.9% of the rifles imported into the US are missing them.

The below pics shows what the original buffer should look like.

They not only " Dent " the brass
But send to forward at a 45 degree angle about 20 ft. in front of you!

Dangest thing I ever saw with Brass ejection

Of course, leave it to an obsessive collector, to actually have one in his collection😇

It was funny. The shop owner thought I would balk at the shipping cost. I explained I was spending half what I would I at home. He just felt bad about the nonsense Cali people had to deal with.

What kind of ammo are you running in your Hakims? Mine doesn't want to feed with various rounds I've tried.

Make sure you are using the correct ammo.

Don't forget, the Hakim has an adjustable gas valve. It helps to ensure reliable cycling with different loads.
