    1 MOA SKS

Now normally I'm not a fan of Russian arms and the SKS bores me but this freaking cool.

Forum user Loose-Cannon from Texas had this SKS built as a straight-pull bolt-action bench-rest style rifle with a custom chambered Israeli 1919A4 barrel.

It looks beautiful, but besides the dust cover and perhaps the bolt I would not be able to tell that was an SKS.

The weight on that thing though haha. And no stripper clip usage? This is beautiful but no longer an SKS in my book

It's been well known that the 7.62x39 has very good accuracy potential but just often is not used in a platform that takes advantage of it.
I like the 7.62x39 round and while I won't be getting one of these ..... good for the guy who got it.

Interesting beast. But I don't know that I would spend that much time and money on that. I like the sks but it is what it is and it is not a sniper rifle. It may do well against smaller game like deer but that's about the biggest I would go with it.

I love SKS rifles, but that is just too much.
SKS is designed to be a battle rifle, not a target rifle.

I thought I read that it was manually operated. I don't think there is much left on the gun that is sks.
The cz527 is cheaper and more readily available ... for me at least

Kind of hard to still call it an SKS with all of the mods done to it.

That's what people said about the AR platform, then people realized, tone of locking lugs gas operated you add a bull barrel, floated handgard a tight chamber and some handloads and your approaching .5 MOA.

I just think its cool if someone puts the effort in they can make a Russian battle rifle a tack driver. Correct me if I'm wrong but thats something the soviets never got right, even the special purpose accuracy guns like the dragunov never shot better than 2MOA

But they keep the AR15s semi auto, they can still function relatively similar to the standard ones in a pinch. This would never serve as a battle rifle.

If they kept it semi auto and improved the barrels i think it would be a good start.

Completely correct. I think Russian people can and do get it right. But when socialism is choosing what rifle you get 2 MOA is the best you get. Socialist GI is a rifle capable of pie plate precision.

A MOA straight-pull rifle with Yugo 762x39 is awesome in my book.

Must be the same people that made the MOA Ruger Mini14.
