That's a beautiful piece. I never new much about Pythons until I watched a TV show about a guy from New York that opened a gun shop in Montana and he has a thing for the Python.

I went with my Bud in, '68 to the shop that used to be in the "Horns of the Hunter" shopping center in Hayward. I think he paid $225. We had just turned 18. PAX

Was that show "The Gunfather"? I guess the title is a play on "The Godfather". An Italian family from New York moved to Montana and opened a gun shop. They have a few Pythons on their website for $4700+.

That's him. In one episode he went to a gun show and bought I think 6 Pythons from one guy.

I am a revolver fan and your Colt as well as my revolvers are beautiful pieces from a bygone era.

I think most of the younger people on the handgun forums do want something more state of the art... same thinking with police departments, FBI, the military etc.. etc.. Something that will put the maximum number of rounds downrange as fast as possible...

Those reading here in Curio and Relics probably do appreciate it more.

Very nice Python. What are your plans for it? Shoot it or safe queen?
