    Where?

Where is everyone getting their Japanese c&rs ( Type 38, Type 44, Type 99) other than the obvious gunbroker? Got a hankering recently thought I'd start looking around.

I got one on calguns, the others at my a few LGS. Most of the smaller stores around me have consignment guns and I get lucky every now and then.

Got my one and only with a bayonet and a Japanese type 90 helmet with star, full liner, and uncut chinstrap. Mum was not ground, and it had an old M-1 Carbine sling on it.... Oh, if it could only talk...? Got it from a private party in Sacramento years ago....

I did see an Arisaka at J&G guns on the rack in Granite Bay last month... Type 38 I think with a ground mum....

My T38 was liberated from the Emperor's serf in New Guinea by my uncle. The T99s were estate sailors. What part of the world are you located? PAX

Last few gunshows I've been to there has been an arisaka/japanese vendor. Other than that, just checking pawn shops and gun stores.

TRAP has a type 38 with intact mum. Don't know much about it though, it could very well have other flaws.

                        Soooo, you're that guy!

I hope that it didn't take too much elbow grease to get my finger prints and drool off of them!

You talking about Wally out of Las Vegas? Good guy and will email responses to your questions. I've bought ammo from him at the Big Reno show, he's always in the big room.
