Love the crate, probably the best wood crate construction and reuse I have owned.

I work in a lab that tests various performance of computers. One company from Mexico had sent us computers over a couple of years for testing. All the systems came in nice boxes and packing.

So one day we're unpacking a system from that company. In addition to typical packing material, the computer was wrapped in a couple of white t-shirts that hat the worst armpit stains I had ever seen. Huge dark stains. And cigarette butts in the bottom of the box.

Got a laugh out of it. Mentioned to rep from that company; he was puzzled. Has not happened since; only that one time.

From what I could find its a Serbian Cyrillic labeled version of Lovcen. A popular Montenegro cigarette.

So far havent found an image of that style box. You might have the last one in existence. A piece of Yugoslavian history

Although it's packaging experienced many changes and modifications due to many kinds of cigarettes being offered it's aroma stayed basically the same - the well endowed communist taste of pure strong tobacco. Just after one cigarette the smoker's body reeks for the next three days. They also were one of the cheapest cigarettes around - so they were blended good with the whole socialism mentality of the age. For just couple of Dinars you could emerge yourself in the communist ideal of cancerous smoke.
