Roster and C&R handguns for non 03 FFL holder

    Hello CG,
Just wondering if i can buy a C&R handgun online and shipped to a 01 FFL? I do not have a 03FFL.
I know C&R handguns are roster exempted but not sure if that only applies to people with 03 FFL.
    Thanks

Hello Tekkno, that is how I purchased my Romanian Tokerev from Classic firearms. Make contact with your local FFL first, and fallow their rules for receiving a firearm.

The C&R exemption applies to everyone. (don't need a C&R FFL to be able to use it)

      Also...
Having just a C&R FFL does nothing.
Need to have a C&R FFL and COE, which makes you...
... exempt from the 10 day waiting period when acquiring a C&R firearm from a CA FFL dealer.
... exempt from the 1 in 30 day wait when acquiring C&R handguns.
... needing a FSC when acquiring C&R firearms.
... exempt from needing to do a safe handling demonstration when acquiring C&R firearms.

Also, exempt from the ammo restrictions of Prop 63...

Right now that's probably the best reason to have the C&R/COE combo.

          Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

Just got my Father in Law to mail in his applications and working on my brother and brother in law. I doubt any of them will ever buy a C&R gun but for ammo, well worth it to not bend over to the CADOJ even though they bend us over for the COE fee.
