We still don't know where the OP is located. Sometimes Ammo Bros has the Japanese calibers and 7.5 Swiss surplus and other weird stuff. I know Bullseye in Riverside sold out of 30-40 Krag

I'd bet money he is in Southern California, they always seem to be the ones who think that is the whole state....

Even if in SoCal it is a long way from Santa Barbara to say Calexico.

Ammo Depot in Ranco Cordova, CA has some of the calibers you specified.

However, as others point out, the shipping costs and lower prices at vendors like SG ammo, Targetsports USA, Palmetto, etc usually are somewhat cheaper than local costs+sales tax.

Do you live in an area that ammo can't be shipped to?

I appreciate all the responses. And yeah I apologize, I should have stated I'm in Southern California, more specifically the Inland Empire area. It seems the consensus is to buy online or Ammo Bros, I'll be sure to do that in the future .

                Graf & Sons
                Midway

Both get 6.5 and 7.7 Jap in stock, go to the website if not in stock
do the "Notify Me when in stock" thingie. worked for me numerous times to get both no I'm well supplied.

All of that was available in Costa Mesa last weekend.

I don't recall seeing Krag. I think Miwall had some of the other calibers if you are willing to wait in those lines.

Shopping for ammo online I also check out Sportsman's Guide. They carry most of the ammo you are looking for. They have free shipping quite often and they have the "Notify Me" thingy like Midway also.

I quit buying from Sportsman's guide when they stopped selling perfectly legal stuff to California. Same with cheaper than dirt. Screw those assclowns with a cactus.

I have bought a few things from Sportsmans Guide in the past. I do not care for their "Club Card" nonsense or the crushing volume of daily spam they dump in your email as soon as you buy something.

I really enjoy people watching the oafs that stand in that line with their wagons. They pay to park, pay to get in, inhale expensive beer and hot dogs while waiting, and then pay about retail before hauling their treasure a mile or so back to their muraled bubble windowed creepy vans.

The smug, "I am SO clever and saved SO much money" look on their faces as they waddle out of there is priceless.
