    C&R Ammo

Anyone know where I can find 7.5x54 French, 7.7 or 6.5 Jap, 7.5x55 Swiss, or 8mm Mauser without having to buy it out of state? I'm looking to buy ammo for my WWII collection without having to pay for shipping costs.

Depends if you want original or modern.
A lot of vendors like SGAmmo, ammoman, etc have the ammo you are looking for in single boxes. There are vintage ammo dealers online(do a search) or gunbroker.
Good luck in your search. You'll probably be driving around a lot instead of paying some shipping.

Shipping costs are less than in state markup (plus tax).

SG Ammo stocks those calibers with very reasonable shipping.
      C&R nut.

You might be able to find 8x57mm local, but I doubt you will have much luck with the others.

Ammo Bros has a good selection. They had most of those calibers last time I was there.

It will be cheaper to buy online than at any brick & mortar store.

Go to ammoseek.com and run a search.

You'd get better answers if you gave your location.

I second this, they had some rarer calibers like 30-40 Krag, 7.35/6.5 Carcano and 7.7 Jap. Different stores will have different calibers though.

Where are you located? I have some 8x57 that I can sell in stockton.

What store had Krag ammo? I searched high and low for that stuff and never found any, even online. Ended up buying some brass private party. I've seen 7.5 Swiss for a bit cheaper than online after shipping but sold out almost a year ago. They have 7.7 Jap locally but it's like 50 bucks a box of 20

Krag brass is harder to find than ammo. There is 30-40 Krag ammo on Gunbroker.

Any of those might pop up locally, but you will save yourself a lot of time by just buying it online. I bought a bunch of 7.7 from Grafs and their shipping is quite reasonable. Buy a case of 7.7 from Ammo Man. Shipping is freeeeeeee.

SG Ammo is always my first stop. Even when they might be a little higher on one thing, they are usually lower on something else I want. Service and shipping are always really fast.

I saw some at the store at Cerritos last time I was there (a few months ago lol). Just call them to see if they still have some I guess.
