                    He can shoot it as the gun is still solid and excellently made. But he he breaks a numbered part the value would drop more than the cost of a shooter Luger

                        My guess is, that because of the low serial #, it might have been made in 1922. I believe that was the first year the company went in business making Lugers for the police. Most of the parts were made during WWI, and reworked and built by Simson & Suhl.
