    Classic Firearms announcement?

They have some nice rifles on the table, I wonder if this is from the Samco lot:

I like the idea of seeing exactly what you're going to get but I'm sure you'll pay a premium for it. This is why I prefer SimponsLTD.

Saw that yesterday - kinda want to see the Mosin 38's and the funny looking French ones. I already know I can't afford the Swedish carbine!

Hoping for some Russian TTCs. Doesn't look like anything that isn't readily available as of now. I'm just wondering if they'll have enough of something that will drop current market value.

I will be watching, but I expect shenanigans now from Classic after the M39 deal. I came out well with that one, but others got turds.

Awesome. I hope they aren't going to go insane on the prices.

Definitely some not so common rifles in the vid but considering how much the beat up SMLEs went for, I'm not holding my breath.

I got one of the hand select SMLE's. Hand select with Classic just means you won't get a totally crap rifle and not a very nice rifle. I guess I was pretty fortunate because mine came with a nice stock and bore although there is quite a bit of bluing loss.

The wrapped MAS rifles might be worth it (assuming they're 36s), but I imagine they'll be asking $600. Interesting to see what they'll price RC K98s at (which is what I'm assuming is that bottom rifle). Grab bag for $500, add another $50 for hand select +$100 for a specific code? Sounds like Classic to me.

And they will sell out very fast at those prices.

That is just nuts - I bought my mint MAS 36 two years back for $350.

If I put it up for sale here on CGN, i'd still probably only get $350 for it. For some reason people go nuts over stuff sold by a retailer vs a private seller.

Exactly. The wrapped MAS 36 might be worth it as they're harder to come by, but I wouldn't pay anymore than $350 for a MAS coming from Classic sight unseen... hell, make that $300.

I don't get it. And you can see exactly what you are getting with a private seller. I guess you can attribute it to a combination of our want in now culture mixed with ignorance and laziness. I would imagine some people are hesitant about buying from a private seller.

I've purchased a few rifles from Classic but I've always gotten better deals on nicer rifles from the forums.
