    P-64 Question

I bought a Radom P-64 a couple of years ago with my C&R license from Turners and have decided to sell the gun. I have the pistol listed on Gunbroker and I am getting a lot of questions about selling the gun to another C&R licensed individual out of state. The main question being asked is whether or not I can send the gun directly to the bidding winners home address. Do you guys have advice on this type of sale?

My understanding is, 03 to 03 is just fine. The receiving 03 can receive from a non 03.
In reality, the state law at the receiver's end is what determines it. But, the seller has to include a copy of their 03 license.
That was my experience when I had my 03 license, but it's been a couple of years since I let it go. But, I only used it for rifles.

By federal law it's fine. Some states prohibit it, however, California being one. I don't know how you can find a list of states prohibiting such a shipment.

You know, I'd wager you could make more money and have an easier transfer if you just listed it on the marketplace for $250, or $200 if you want a fast sale. These things can be ordered from surplus sites for $220 and they don't have to worry about shipping restrictions like you do.

A good place to look would be a lot of the web stores that sell a lot of C&R guns.

Placed like J&G Sales, AIM Surplus and let's not not forget Classic Firearms. In fact Dennis; the owner of Classic Firearms, is a member of CalGuns.

          Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

I think Dennis Kroh owns Empire Arms.

FWIW, New York, CA, and New Jersey are three that require a licensed dealer, regardless of C&R status, on pistols.

            IMHO, YMMV, etc.
You will never, in your life, have a chance like this again.
If I were you, I would not pass this up. I would not let this go by...this is rare.
            Come on...what harm??
