All three sold immediately (two on the same day, and the third in two days), and some with several backup offers. This was not because they were priced at the going rate. This was because they were priced quite low. Now, If I can show you twice as many listings for over $1,000, would you be persuaded?

And the HRA for $950 (third link) was a real score for the buyer. Like I said way back in the thread:

Always looking for vintage Winchester and Marlin lever action rifles. Looking to sell? Know of one for sale? Drop me a line!

        how about $500? http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s....php?t=1206743

Non USGI wood, no bbl date mentioned, person could have been looking for a 6 digit receiver for a project or just a cheap shooter, seller didn't know market value for his area or who really knows? Buyer got a great deal depending on condition.

I've got more Garands than I shoot, including one with a new USGI 7.62 bbl and a Breda complete matching and original with accouterments, so I'm out of the market even at $500 anyway, and certainly at $1200.

One friend of mine had over 250 Garand's in his collection plus an additional 30-40 M1 Carbines. It was nice to visit his family cuz I got to handle all the Garand's, M1 Carbines and received an education at the sametime.
