Crazy CA gun laws

I am in the military and recently stationed here. I am from Kansas (one of the most gun friendly states there is) and am not used to all these CA laws. Besides the normal fees an FFL will charge you for PPT, does CA also charge sales tax on PPT? Trying to get a handle on all the fees associated w/ transfer so I can price my K98k at an attractive price and get this thing moving. On a side note, if you are looking for one PM me and check the trader. Negotiable.

There is no sales tax on a PPT.

It's even easier if you find someone who has a C&R and coe

FFL dealers often charge tax on the total amount of the sale including the background check, etc.
