I would look into how much mags would be for them.
        Some mags are pricy.

          Thanks for the link.

The pistol will ship Monday, I should have it by the end of the week.

So, it looks like the CZ 83 mags will work.

Yes, CZ 83 mags should work.

As I recall they're cheaper from CZ USA than Midway.

When I bought my CZ82 from J&G, being I was from Kommiefornia, they sold me CZ83 mags, they hold 9 or 10 rounds (if you really shove that last round in) and have worked great for a few years.

You can always buy one and send it to your FFL, then start the paperwork she your 30 is up. Most places will let you do that.

Hold the phone, I thought CZ82s are off roster? Would this fall under C&R / COE eligible?

I knew time was a factor so I just went with the 83 since I know its still on that damn list.

edit: Ok looks like 82s are C&R and 83s are not which would explain why they still have 40 or so 83's left in stock.

                            It's gone now.

Sure glad I got mine a few years ago. Paid $149 for it from SOG when I had my NV license on their Christmas flyer.
                            Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

These days, $299.00 is a good price for a decent condition CZ82. Great pistols, amazing DA trigger for a milsurp.
