      Nice find Emdawg,

      Let's see; back in the day I carried an Ithaca and also a Remington. Both were leftovers from WWII and well worn. Can't remember exactly what it was about the two that was different but you could feel it when you had them in your hands. Maybe the plastic grips were made by different manufacturers and were slightly different in width.

      Qualified expert with both, got a Springfield Armory now.
