After the last batch, I saw a lot of unsatisfied Classic customers. I have bought from Classic, I lucked out and got decent M44s, but they are inconsistent and a crap shoot as to what you may end up with. If I wanted another M39, I would buy from a Calgunner or someone reputable like Simpsons. For an extra $50.00, you would be sure of what you were buying. I lucked out and bought my M39 from Pat Burns and it is a beauty but those were the old days. There were too many pissed off and disappointed people from the last Classic batch, caveat emptor.

I'm a Bobby booster, he has a great eye, a beautiful collection and knows more about C&Rs than most people on here. He's also snarky and a smartass, I respect that. Jealous much?

I know one of Bobby's rifles in that picture didn't come from Classic.

One of them spent a LOT of years in my safe.

Interesting that they've been in stock for a week now.

Anybody else thinking this is BS how every few months only a few trickle in at high prices?

I never regretted taking that SK.Y M39 off your hands. I have put quite a few rounds through it and it is a delightful shooter. as much as I love all Mosin Nagants, it is sort of a let down to go back to a 91/30 after spending some range time with a Finn.

I am unworthy of such praise Sir. I agree that there are better ways to acquire a Finn than a pig in a poke buy, especially when there are lots of unhappy customers across the boards.

I do like Classic, and they've gotten a lot of my money, but a nice minty Finn is a cornerstone of any C&R collection, and worth the time, effort, and additional wampum spent on getting a good one.

Well, I played the lottery three times. Won each time (check the C&R Forum for the "family"). Each of the rifles works well and shoots well.
