CMP Garand Question...

regarding the HRA special, do you have an account at the cmp e-store? if so log in and check your pending orders. it will list, your garand by description...i.e. SA service or HRA service special. i thought i missed the HRA special too as my order arrived that weds and i did not get a confirmation email. but then later i found that i have an open order for the HRA special and since they recently billed my CC for that $amount, i think i may have gotten lucky.

most important advice i can give you.....order the 30-06 surplus from CMP while you still can.

CMP received my order on November 10th at which time I received a confirmation email and E-store access info. As of today, there is still nothing in pending orders or order history. I guess my order has not yet moved to that stage. I think I'm SOL on the HRA special but I'll be happy with the SA SG.

In regard to the surplus ammo, it appears that all of it has a bi-metal or steel core projectile so I cannot shoot it at ranges here in SoCal that ban magnetic stuff. Great prices though!

Can you order 4 ammo boxes 405cn (that's my first choice)of ammo for me? I do not have the cmp paper work yet. I'm in Cerritos. I'll take what I can get!

I just got a fantastic surprise! CMP finally shows my order as pending after 35 days of waiting to find out if I would get the HRA special or a SA Service grade. Here's what the order says:

You are going to have to go through the process with CMP. Sorry, I won't order ammo for someone I don't personally know.
