                    My C&R collection was started and is being maintained in the exact same manner. Everything is obtained in the same manner. I am very particular about this.

                    My method is to walk into a store, or peruse online listings (typically for ammo deals) and then a magpie-like drive takes over and I purchase everything I can get my hands on.

                    Sometimes this works out in my favor and I get a real treasure Sometimes they require a bit of work.

                    On occasion it is an utter catastrophe but hey, could be worse. My guns could be...

                    Younger than me!
                    So I was driving home from the range and I noticed that the scent of warm steel, burnt gunpowder and lukewarm coffee combined and smelled oddly of... Peanut butter?! Man, the Hoppe's is going to my head.
