How would you describe your C&R Collection?

I don't know about you guys there wasn't any rhyme or reason when I built my meager C&R collection. I went from buying Mosins, to getting a Mauser rifle, to a Brit rifle, to..... you get the idea.

I'll admit it - no freakin' plan what so ever, just whatever caught my eye.

I focus on certain things but will buy almost anything if the price is right.

You know what a plan is, right? A plan is a list of things that don't happen.

My C&R collection is a scattered mess largely determined by what I was interested in at the time coinciding with what I came across at the time. More holes in my collection than a screen door. Now that I have a more definite idea of what I want, I play hell finding any of it. Guess that's the game.

I almost always buy first and research later.

Mosin, two nice .22's. It's pretty small.

I started out the same and actually didn't mean to collect so to speak. But then once I got going I developed a plan in that I don't want to specialize in one item, so I avoid buying repeats of a model.

I also try to avoid more than 2 purchases a year (I'm youngish, early 30s so I have time).

I know I have one of the following three in my near future:

              A trap door, a Ruby, a Webley .455
Everyone on Calguns keeps talking about TDS. I never knew we had so many fish keepers!

The TDS on my 10gallon tanks 110ppm
The TDS on my 29 gallon tank is 150ppm (due to substrate)

I'm on a Finn bender at the moment. I think it's somewhere in the 9-12 range and haven't done a count for about a month. Still doesn't compare to Flyin Brian's.

I try to diversify, and fill gaps. I don't believe in having any two of one type/variant of rifle. You can only shoot one at a time, so why do you need two of one thing!

How would you describe your C&R Collection?

My current collection is a conglomerate mix of guns I never owned previously. I try to avoid buying special calibers but some guns I had to have like a K31 and M1 carbine.

                      C&R collection? Very random..

I mostly have "modern" guns. I have inherited quite a few "old" guns though..

I started collecting just US military rifles, then branched out to allied weapons from WW I & WW II. After expanding to include pistols I started adding Axis weapons. I've got examples of every US weapon I can legaly own from the 1989 Krag to the M16. Only countries I don't have any weapons from are France, Italy and Japan. To hard to get ammo for most of their weapons, and I shoot everything I own.

As long as components are easy to get, I'll buy whatever catches my eye.

So mine is kinda all over the place

I have a Russian sks, a Chinese sks and a 1909 argentine mauser cavalry carbine. I would describe my collection as a weak flirt.
