    Yes, I have my 03FFL. Just waiting on the CoE. I already am affiliated with a Garand club. So, I don't have to deal with transfer fees, taxes, DROS, etc.

    Maybe I'll just wait for my CoE to come in and order directly from the CMP.

      You still need your COE to cash and carry a FTF purchase here in CA. You may want to wait until you have it and then you won't have to deal with a PPT, you can just meet the person, give them the cash and take the Garand home.

        Thanks Trickster. Looks like I'll be waiting a little while longer - it's been about 2 months since I submitted the CoE. Should be any day now.

          Honestly, I was just trying to help. I have a few Garands that i rarely shoot. To me, I'd rather see someone enjoy a rifle than being a safe queen. I think the best deal for the OP is to wait out the COE, get one from CMP. I really don't think it's gonna be 4-6 months wait. Worse case scenario may be 4-6, but I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
