OP, I'm glad you got your pistol back and blued the way you wanted. It looks great.

When I got mine back from the RPD they had taken a punch to the ramp, forcing me to replace the barrel. Glad you fared better.

We already have the only reasonable Gun Control we need, It's called the Second Amendment and it's the government it controls.

Oh, well disregard my comment Paulie, I thought you had $500.00 into this, you still come in cheaper than replacing it and it looks immaculate. Congrats!

I remember this! I have a 96/11 that has finish removed on the front of the barrel, and every time i look at it, it makes me think of your pistol! It still makes me wonder who did what to your gun.?

First you are chopping up historic vintage rifles and sticking them in cheap and nasty looking plastic "dildo" stocks that look like some kind of futuristic sex toy that gay space aliens stick up each other's butts.

I'm glad this story has a happy ending!! I've often wondered how hard it would be to get something back... I would think hearing the cops have it is only half a miracle :/

I collect Military Arms and enjoy shooting in local matches. I also collect older Lever Actions, especially those chambered in odd/old cartridges. If you have a nice old Winchester or Marlin in 25-20, 32-40, 38-55, 40-60, 45-70, etc etc, please PM me and we can work out a deal.
