It's not much, just a 1944 Izhevsk PU, 1943 Tula, 1929 Tula. Would love to have M39 one day.

Unfortunately - The M39 bayo isn't original; (can't afford a original)it's a repo from Empire Arms (they were up front when they sold them - never claimed it was a original)

Yes, right after I bought my first Big 5 91/30, I shot my first M44 and immediately sold my 91/30 and bought more M44s. I bought the laminate 91/30 just because the price was right, $129.00 and it is in pretty great shape, but I have not even shot it yet. The 91/30s are good guns but so long, I much prefer the shorter carbines. The M39 is a sweet rifle as well. I like that I am five years older than my M39, or at least the build. I am not sure if the receiver is an antique, need to pull it out of the stock to check that tang date.

My favorite Mosin is an unassuming T53 I picked up on Gunbroker for $115. Such a sweet shooter!

I rarely shoot mine, simply because I have a sneaking suspicion it prefers .308 diameter bullets as opposed to .311. It will chamber surplus ammo, but with some types of surplus it felt like it was having issues with the pressure, where my other M/Ns didn't. Probably haven't shot it in two years at least.

I have the dies and everything, so once I get some 7.62x54r brass I'm going to load some with .308 and see how the 28/30 likes them.

I only got the group pictures of some of my mosins, but I'm actively working on fixing that. So, here are most of my M44s and clones, some M91s (Remington and New England - Westinghouse), and a couple of snipers (1943 Tula and Izhevsk).
