      Very nice...what an intersting rifle, both from a functional and historical standpoint. Awesome!

          Very nice! I always look for one around December after a year of savings, but always seem to come up short

                          Very nice.
                          There were a couple at the Placerville gun show a couple of weeks ago. I passed because they had recoil pads and sporting rifle front sights. They were still pretty pricy.

                            Does the Johnson need M2 Ball (or similar) ammo the same as a Garand or can it shoot any 30-06, including modern hunting stuff?
