Finally acquired a 41 Johnson

The forward portion of the stock seemed "contoured" and it has a sporter style front sight. I want to say the tag was $3500. I didn't handle it, just looked at it from behind the tables.

I have to ask.....are you going to shoot the thing? I figure most who have one of these don't......but I bet it is plenty accurate and fun too.

Does the Johnson need M2 Ball (or similar) ammo the same as a Garand or can it shoot any 30-06, including modern hunting stuff?

Very nice, difficult for me to say anything that doesn't totally sound dirty, so here it goes. I've always wanted to at least handle a Johnson, or better yet shoot it a little.
