Didnt you read the FAQ? yo need at least 1k rounds for every firearm you own.

      BTW Ken, Semper Fi buddy!

We could use a few updates from the sandbox and not from the liberal media.

The military does it but I wouldn't want to do it with any of my toys. I'm not sure of any additional 'weatherizing' they may do though.

another one. DPMS bull upper. Negative so far is the upper isn't to spec, very hard to get the takedown pin in.

Let's see...I have cobbled this carbine together from:
                          • Stag Lower
                          • LMT 14.5" Upper with permenantly attached Phantom (The barrel is chrome lined with a 1/7 twist)
                          • LMT lower parts kit (I think, it was from Bravo Company)
                          • Knight's RAS & vertical foregrip
                          • Rock River side sling adapter
                          • Stag collapsable stock & milspec buffer extension, with H buffer
                          • Bushmaster carry handle
                          • Hogue pistol grip
                          • Bushmaster 10rd magazine
                          • Sporting Conversions magazine kit
                          • And a 10 round stripper clip of XM855PD for good measure.

                              tight fit

The tight fit of the bull barrel upper is a good thing. Nice solid lockup between the upper and lower. A little tight is much better than a lot of slop.
I had a similar upper years ago that was a very tightly fitted on my Registered PWA lower. Made a very accurate rifle though.

                                dear head. stag lower.

and gunner, i'm with you on being tight, but this sucker is TIGHT. I'd be all okay for it but i have to undo the takedown pin everytime i reload. wouldn't complain much if it was a full functioning rifle.
