Finally, mine (I should've posted pictures of the SU-16CA!):

Thanks to Sage's friend for making that grouping possible with that underpowered British Radway Green surplus. (The CLP is in there as a shameless plug for Bill)

Those are 2 sweet setups - did you buy all the pieces separately or were you able to find most of them @ a few places?

Why thank you! I got a most of it from PK firearms, Denny and the ar15 equipment exchange. I really like PK, you should take a look at their selection. Nice Sabre uppers, and the best selection of bolt carrier groups on the web.

Just need to find me a nice 9v light for the recon so I can move the smaller light to the lightweight build.....

Nice! Thanks for the info, much appreciated, will be modeling my first build after your recon!

How hard is it/long does it take to remove the mag with the prince 50 installed?

You're not supposed to remove the mag with a Prince 50.

Then, Sir, we will give them the bayonet! (Stonewall Jackson's reply to Colonel B.E. Bee when he reported that the enemy were beating them back. At the first battle of Bull Run, July 1861)

Unless in a free state the prince 50 mag lock should not be removed, doing so will be a felony. Bullet-button and the prince 50 are completely different beast.

so if youre not supposed to use to the prince 50 to remove the mag why not just go out to the hardware store and get a nut and washer to lock the magazine disconnect in place
this is what happens when a warped sense of humor takes over your mind

Some people prefer a "cleaner" look.

Apologies. I'll post some updated pictures tonight after I add the LaRue Eotech mount I just received.

Here's mine, I just put the aimpoint on, I still have to paint it. It's a Spike's Tactical lower, Stag upper, winter triggerguard, the pistolgrip will be changed out for an Ergogrip, the YHM forearm will be swapped out for a MI one, it has a Grip-pod, C-Products SS mag, VLTOR stock, Aimpoint Comp M2, ARMS BUIS, Blackhawk sling, YHM flip up front sight (to be changed for a Troy one), standard A2 flash hider, and soon to have a LaRue mount for my Hellfighter X-15 flashlight. Not the best pics, but the best I have right now!

I've said it before and I'll say it again- nice rifle.
What made you decide on the Aimpont vs powered optics ? And what sling are you using ?

that is a SEXY rifle!!! Awsome job
the only thing is kinda dislike about it is that grip-pod
It would be better with just a normal vertical grip IMO
