My new AXR. TPD USA sent me the receiver plus compliance parts and I built it up as a featureless. So I can use my 30rnd AR mags in it legally.
It was weird monkey-pawing, but I got used to it pretty quickly. That's a Sabre Defense 16" barrel extended by about 4.1" using a reverse threaded 7.62 muzzle brake.

What is the optic and mount you have on it? As you can see I have the Ghetto rear sight on mine. My boy would dig a scope or red dot!!!!

When I was building my rifle he couldn't wait to shoot it. I said "Boy, do you even know how to sight this thing?"

The optic is the Primary Arms 30mm multi-reticle....the mount is from them too. Total package for the sight was $119 shipped. Good sight, works and holds zero after a thousand rounds or so.

For a budget build/range plinker, I don't see the point in spending the same amount of money on your optic as the rifle. PA makes good stuff.
