I have a question for you guys with:

            1) flat top uppers
            2) barrel with the front site post on it
            3) eotech optics

            My questions are:

            1) Is it better to mount the eotech on the front, middle, or rear of the upper? Why?
            2) Doesn't the front site post get in the way of your visibility through the eotech? I have my eotech installed right on the flat top upper (but haven't shot it yet) and it seems to get in the way.
            3) if you have a rear iron sight on your flat top upper as well, can you still use the iron sights through the eotech?

            Thanks!

              See my answers below:

              My questions are:

              1) Is it better to mount the eotech on the front, middle, or rear of the upper? Why?

Depends on your vision (or lack thereof, in my case) to get the proper relief. Too close with the 512 and it gets kinda blurry.

              2) Doesn't the front site post get in the way of your visibility through the eotech? I have my eotech installed right on the flat top upper (but haven't shot it yet) and it seems to get in the way.

Yes, the EOTechs are designed to co-witness. You can purchase mounts that will co-witness the bottom 1/3.

              3) if you have a rear iron sight on your flat top upper as well, can you still use the iron sights through the eotech?

              Yes.

Its not a 20 rounder, there is another 10 round magazine besides the bushmaster that you're (look at that ohsmily ) used to seeing that looks like a straight 20 rounder, I forget who its made by.

looks like a typical armalite 10 round mag. I have a pile of them.

Are those the Tango Down grip rail covers ? How tight/ loose is the fit to the rails ?
How are they attached, simple clip-on ?
